Global Development Seminar

We’d like to announce a new speaker series in the area of global development that will bring scholars doing research in development to grounds. Speakers will be invited from the social science fields of economics, politics, and public policy; we aim to bring together researchers examining pressing challenges facing individuals, households, and firms in developing countries using advanced empirical techniques.

The series is generously supported by the Center for Global Inquiry & Innovation, the Batten School, Batten Global, and the Quantitative Collaborative; and organized by faculty from the department of economics and politics and the Batten School. Seminar days and locations vary based on the department hosting the speaker. Lunch will be provided at the seminars.
