Nicolai Petro (BA ’80, MAPA ’82, Ph.D. ’84), continues to do a lot of lecturing on Russia and Ukraine. Since returning from a Fulbright year in Ukraine in 2014, he has written more than a hundred commentaries for publications such as the American Interest, the New York Times, the Christian Science Monitor, The Guardian (UK), The Nation, Asia Times, and the Wilson Quarterly.
