My research interests are centered on American voting patterns. More specifically, how regional and ethnic concentrations affect how people vote in elections and how political leaders respond based upon these voting behaviors. Additionally, I am interested in examining the method by which the strength of these correlations change when comparing domestic policy issues versus foreign policy issues. Furthermore, the rate to which these groups and concentrations are formally organized and how that affects their success or failure to achieve their policy objectives is of additional interest. For these groups, what methods work? Why do they work and is it better to have higher numbers or better organization when attempting to create policy outcomes in the domestic or foreign policy sphere?
