Doctoral student Beatriz da Costa presented “Politics and Markets: Campaign Finance Reform and Favoritism in Public Procurement” during the Latin America Research Seminar (LARS) at the Center for Latin American Studies at Georgetown University. 

The Center for Latin American Studies’ (CLAS) Latin America Research Seminar (LARS) offers an opportunity for Georgetown faculty, visiting researchers and fellows, and doctoral students whose work focuses on Latin America and the Caribbean to share their research so that our community can learn about, celebrate, and promote their work.
