Graduate student Joseph Bouchard awarded visiting fellowship at Universidad Mayor de San Andrés

Bouchard was awarded a Visiting Fellowship at the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés (UMSA), the leading university in Bolivia, within their Institute of Historical Research. It is the epicenter of Bolivian inteligentsia, and the nexus of important Andean social movements, including the indigenous-leftist social revolution. He will be conducting preliminary fieldwork and reporting on local politics.
