At last weekend's American Political Science Association conference he was awarded the Leon Weaver Award for the best paper presented at the previous year’s meeting, Representation and Electoral Systems section.

He also received an honorable mention for the Sage Prize given for the best paper presented at the previous year’s meeting, Comparative Politics section.
