Biography

Ezra Zhenyun Qin is a doctoral student in political theory at the University of Virginia. His research focuses on late modern political thought, particularly questions of agency, freedom, and responsibility, as well as judgment and imagination. Hannah Arendt has been an important point of reference in his recent thinking. He also has broader intellectual interests in critical theory, feminist thought, continental philosophy, and Chinese political thought. He holds a BA in Political Science from Fudan University and an MA in Political Theory from the University of Toronto.
