Biography
Saskia is a PhD student in the Department of Politics at the University of Virginia. She studies American politics, with a focus on federalism, intergovernmental relations, and the courts.
She previously worked as a defense and national security consultant and served as a policy fellow at Foreign Policy in Washington, D.C. Her professional experience also includes working in the U.S. House of Representatives and serving as a teaching assistant in the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. She also worked as a campaigner for London Mayor Sadiq Khan.
Saskia holds a Master’s degree in Governance and Democracy from Georgetown University, with a concentration in American government and public policy.
