Professor Carol Mershon has accepted an invitation to serve on the American Political Science Association Committee on the Status of Women in the Profession monitors and reports on the status of women in the profession, advances research on women and on issues of concern to women, develops and assesses curriculum materials, and works to ensure fair and equal treatment of women in the profession. Mershon's service on the committee begins September 2025 and concludes September 2028.
